Batting Practice Banter With Tyler Stone
A Conversation With 1st Baseman Tyler Stone
The Missoula PaddleHeads will soon have thoughts of their first home game at Allegiance Field Ogren Park with Opening Night on the horizon. First though the PaddleHeads will look to wrap things up strong on the road in the final 2 games of this road trip opposite the Ogden Raptors. Having won their last 3 in the series, the PaddleHeads have the momentum. A big reason has been the offense with the team scoring 55 combined runs over their last 3 games. One of the biggest bats in this stretch has been first baseman Tyler Stone.
The former Cornhusker has been on fire in his last 3 games finishing with 11 hits in his last 16 at-bats against the Raptors. Stone also has recorded 13 RBIs in that stretch. The Arizona native is the team leader in batting average (.435) and leads the Pioneer League in RBIs (24). Stone may be in his first professional season, but the future surely looks bright for the Scottsdale native.
